Industry veteran Michael Schubert began his early career in the security industry more than 35 years ago with National Alarm Computer Center, Inc. (NACC). During his tenure at NACC, Schubert held a variety of tactical, supervisory and managerial positions for the company. In 1993, he was named President of NACC.
In 2000, Schubert and partner Woodie Andrawos formed National Monitoring Center and have quickly grown the business into the premier 3rd party monitoring company in the nation. In his newly created role of CEO, Schubert will take on a greater visionary role to guide the strategic direction of the company as it seeks new markets and new opportunities for growth. He will continue to participate in key decisions for the company.
Andrawos, also a co-founder of NMC, has an extensive background in financial services and management in the security industry. He served as Billing/Credit Manager for National Alarm Computer Center, Inc. (NACC) and was promoted to General Manager of its financial services division. He was named vice president of NACC in 1995, and was responsible for all financial divisions and operations of the company, including dealer finance, billing and collections.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Software Engineering from National University in San Diego, California.
Chief Financial Officer
Farag has worked in the financial management field for 15 years. He began his career in public accounting as an auditor for Equifax Corporation. He moved his way up the corporate ladder from a Junior Accountant at Birtcher Development to the position of Controller and CFO at various private manufacturing companies.
Farag’s well-rounded financial management background has made him a strong financial leader at NMC.
Vice President of Operations
Shuff began his career in the security industry in 1989 with National Alarm Computer Center, Inc. (NACC), starting as an alarm room dispatcher and then moving through various supervisory and management positions.
He has been with NMC since its founding in 2001 and has extensive experience in operations and central station management. His ability to communicate and manage the business of alarm companies doing business with NMC has ensured growth and retention of accounts.
Director of Telecommunications
Schubert managed the technical services and support operation for NACC since 1986 before coming to NMC since its inception in 2001. He developed programs to enhance the interface between alarm companies and manufacturers of products. His department was designated as a primary testing facility by manufacturers for new products.
Director of Engineering
Valle graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1999 and began his career in the security industry with Monitoring Automation Systems (MAS) in 2001, where he was responsible for training and implementation of the MASterMind Monitoring software platform.
In 2004, he was hired as IT Manager for NMC, where his responsibilities include software development, database management, web design and other engineering projects. He also assists dealers with MASweb, signal formats, receiver questions and any other technical concerns that might arise.
Director of Administration
Jessica began her career in the security industry with NACC in 1998 as an Administrative Assist to the President . In 2001 when NMC was founded Jessica was one of the original team members and managed the Dealer Support Services Department where she was able to use her attention to detail and high quality communication skills to support NMC’s alarm companies. In 2006 Jessica was promoted to Administration Manager where she worked in accounting, Payroll, and Human resources. In 2016 Jessica was promoted to Director of Administration where she oversees Administration, Payroll, Human resources, licensing and compliance for the company.
Dealer Support Services Manager
Humphrey began her career in the security industry in 1994 with National Alarm Computer Center, Inc. (NACC) starting as the Billing & Collection Supervisor. Prior to her employment with NACC, she had 10 years of extensive knowledge in the collection industry. She was promoted to the Billing & Collection Manager in 1995. In 2004, she left NACC to join NMC as the Dealer Support Services Manager.
California Operations Manager
In 2004, Matt began his career in the early years of NMC as an alarm agent. Through the years, Matt has seen the company grow and has become an integral member of the operation. Matt is extremely knowledgeable about the inner workings of the operation and has served in a number of leadership positions. In Matt’s most recent role as Alarm Room Manager, he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day staffing, alarm activity response times, quality control and a number of other operational duties. In Matt’s new role as Operations Manager, he will continue to oversee all of the alarm room’s day-to-day functions, as well as working with the other departments such as Sales, Conversions, DSS and Dealer Relations. He will also be taking a much more active role in working directly with our dealers to help with account retention and growth.
Texas Operations Manager
Tynean joined the NMC team in November 2002, joining the company with 6 years prior experience in the alarm monitoring field. She began her career with NMC as an Alarm Agent in the California office and was quickly promoted to Operations Supervisor. In October 2011, Tynean relocated to our Texas Branch.
Since joining our Texas Operational team, she has had a powerful impact and has lead the center with her almost two decades of experience in delivering an excellent customer experience. She was recently promoted to Texas Operations Manager where she continues to work hard to meet the high standards set by the company.
California Alarm Room Manager
Pedro came to NMC in 2009 with over 8 years of customer service, and electronic monitoring experience. He led a team of reservation sales associates for Hilton Reservation’s international call center. There he was instilled with the customer service skills needed to exceed the expectations of the most demanding clientele. His first step into electronic monitoring came during his tenure with G4S Justice Services. At G4S, he oversaw the monitoring of dangerous and high profile offenders on house arrest and GPS tracking; all requiring the utmost attention to detail and unwavering vigilance to ensure public safety.
While at NMC, he was quickly promoted to Supervisor and later Alarm Room Manager. His background and diligence have been employed to ensure NMC’s high quality of service and standards remain at the forefront of everyday operations.
Education & Recruitment Supervisor
Chris graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2010 and began his management career with the University that same year. Between 2011 and 2014 he worked in the financial sector managing small stores in Arizona and California. He was responsible for the hiring and training in both locations.
Chris started with NMC in early 2014 and demonstrated superior skills with computer systems, customers, and coworkers. In late 2014 he took on the role of Recruitment and Education Supervisor where his patience and the ability to communicate effectively play a large part in the success of training at NMC. His goal is to continue shaping the minds of new employees while making the transition for both dealers and new employees as smooth as possible.

Recruitment & Education Supervisor
Shane began his career with NMC in 2011 with over 15 years of customer service, management, & call center experience. A bulk of that time was spent working for a national retail chain managing their acquisitions and turning them into profitable and viable entities. After joining the NMC team, Shane’s work ethic, problem solving ability, and dedication caught the notice of management and he was quickly promoted to the operational supervisor team working on both grave and day shifts. Those same qualities along with his friendly and helpful disposition were the reason he was asked to join the training department. Once in the training department, Shane quickly embarked on helping create the current quality assurance program.
As the Recruitment and Educational Supervisor, Shane ensures that the high level of customer service is maintained through active recruitment from varied sources, proper training, and continued education of current agents.

Tatiana began her career in the security industry in 2007 with NMC as an entry level phone operator. She was quickly promoted to an alarm room customer service representative where she utilized her above average customer service skills to excel in this position.
In 2010 Tatiana was sought out by the NMC Sales department and promoted to Sales Coordinator where her outgoing dynamic personality and customer first approach allows her to thrive. With her extensive experience in operations and sales, Tatiana, works with all new dealers from the point of sale to ensure a smooth transition into the NMC culture.
Regional Sales Manager, Southwest
Phea Phann began his career with NMC in 2007 when he was hired to work in NMC’s Data Conversions department. Phea’s skills and his attention to detail made him a perfect fit for the NMC conversions team. In early 2008, Phea was promoted to our sales division where he began to work with the various alarm associations to help our local dealers.
His efforts earned him the SCSA President’s Award in 2008 and again in 2010. In 2010, Phea was promoted to NMC’s Sales Conversion Supervisor position where he currently supervises the implementation of all new dealers into NMC.
Regional Sales Manager, South
Industry veteran Angela Hackett recently joined the NMC team as Regional Sales Manager. This tenacious and highly effective communicator will represent the voice of the dealers in the Texas market. Angela’s proven industry experience and enthusiasm will enable her to assist dealers in their portfolio management and asset growth.
East Coast Regional Sales Manager
Dawn brings an impressive resume to the NMC Team, earning experience in a variety of industries including aerospace, healthcare, retail and security. For the past 13 years, she was a key member of the National Accounts Sales team for ADI/Honeywell in New York.
At ADI/Honeywell, she was responsible for multiple roles and responsibilities including pricing and sales support, customer care, and other special projects including the role of IT liaison to develop effective sales tools and processes to increase organizational efficiencies. In 2010, Scifo was promoted to National Account Customer Service Supervisor where she managed a team with two members nationally ranked #1 and #2 in sales. In her new role with NMC, Dawn will be responsible for all sales and business development on the east coast.
Lockhart began her career in the security industry in 2014 when she was hired as an entry level alarm agent. She was quickly noticed for her high quality customer service skills and her extreme attention to detail. In June 2014, Lockhart was given the opportunity to use her valuable skills when she was promoted to the operations supervisor team as the Swing Shift Supervisor. As the Swing Shift Supervisor, she managed all of the shift’s day to day alarm room functions. Lockhart continued to thrive in this role and in 2016 she was promoted to the position of Conversions Manager.
As the NMC Conversions Manager, Lockhart is responsible for the implementation and integration of all new dealers. This role requires her to work through every detail with the NMC Department managers and NMC Dealers. She plays a key role in all functions of integrating new dealers into the NMC culture.
Dealer Relations Manager
Schraugnagel began her career in the security industry with Brink’s Home Security in 1991. During her 20 years with Brink’s, she held a number of positions and eventually became their Industry Relations Liaison. She then joined Monitronics and became co-chair of the ASAP to PSAP Outreach Committee.
For over 20 years, Schraufnagel has been active in many local, state and national security industry associations and has held numerous committee and board positions in each. She is currently the Vice President of the North Texas Alarm Association (NTAA), Secretary for the National Electronic Security Alliance (NESA), and a memberof the IQ Board of Directors. Additionally, she sits on the Government Relations, Legislative Coalition, and National Companies Committees for the Electronic Security Association (ESA), and is a member of the Alarm Industry Communications Committee (AICC). She has been a member of the False Alarm Reduction Association (FARA) since 1998. She is also an Essentials of False Alarm Reduction Certified Instructor.
A career highlight was her appointment to a multi-association “Think Tank” formed in the late 1990’s that spent four years researching and implementing new false alarm reduction measures nationwide, including what is now known as Enhanced Call Verification (ECV) along with many elements included in the ANSI SIA CP-01 control panel standard and the CSAA CS-V-01 central station standard. The “Think Tank” eventually evolved into the present-day Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC).
Texas Engineering Manager
At Computer Center (NACC), Stefan was quickly promoted through several positions to Operations Manager in 1989. In 1992 he joined Monitoring Automation Systems (MAS) with their code red-support team where he remained until his return to NACC in 1997 managing the Engineering and Communications department. He joined NMC in 2006 and has relocated to Irving, TX to manage the Texas operation.
